Review: Bloomfield Hills Vintage Apparel & Jewelry Show

If you’re a vintage worshiper, the annual Bloomfield Hills Vintage Apparel & Jewelry Show (held at Birmingham Unitarian Church in Bloomfield Hills) is not to be missed. For a $5 entrance fee, you get about two dozen dealers, mostly from Detroit and Chicago, who bring their very best wares – and are willing to negotiate. The emphasis is definitely on accessories, with jewelry, hats, handbags, shoes, belts and glasses stealing the show. Alas, while this year’s event is now over (it closed today at 4 p.m.), the gallery below will have you marking your fashion calendar for next year.
